Our Brand story is that of Courage...
Founded in January 2024, Optomly was born out of a desire to make quality eye care and luxury eyewear more accessible and affordable to South Africans.
Since launching, we have built a loyal client base through referrals, community
engagement, and trusted service. Our active presence on social media, particularly on TikTok, has allowed us to connect with customers nationwide — sharing our story, educating about eye health, and showcasing our curated range of fashionable eyewear.
At Optomly, we combine style, care, and innovation to provide our customers
with clear, comfortable vision and confidence in how they see the world.
While we serve a wide audience, our brand has become especially known for
helping first-time spectacle wearers feel comfortable and confident in their
eyewear journey.

At Optomly, we believe that healthy vision enhances productivity and overall workplace
well-being. Our Corporate Wellness Programme is designed to help companies invest in their employees’ health by providing convenient and affordable on-site eye care services.
We also accept medical aids for companies that offer employee medical aids, this ensures inclusivity and adds to our collaborative efforts on making eyecare acceble.
Through these wellness packages, we assist organizations in reducing eye strain–related
fatigue, improving focus, and promoting long-term eye health among staff. To date,
Optomly has partnered with Worksgroup and Women Development in Business,
collectively assisting over 60 employees with professional eye screenings, vision
solutions, and education on maintaining healthy eyesight.
Our goal is to make eye care an integral part of workplace wellness—helping teams see
better, work better, and live better.
The Optomly Cares Initiative: Taking
eyecare to our people
The Optomly Initiative is our community outreach program dedicated to bridging the gap in eye care accessibility for rural and underserved communities. We believe that everyone deserves the gift of clear vision, regardless of where they live.
Through this initiative, we bring our services directly to rural areas—offering comprehensive eye screenings, consultations, and affordable eyewear options to those who may not have access to
traditional optometry practices.
So far, the Optomly Cares Initiative has reached over 70 patients, providing them with clearer vision and renewed confidence.
This ongoing effort reflects our mission to restore vision and improve lives—one community at a time.

About the Founder
Optomly was founded by Sibiya Nomthandazo known as Ingane KaGogo, a lady that was born and
raised in rural Northern KwaZulu-Natal in a small village called Mbongolwane. She is a qualified optometrist passionate about making quality eye care accessible and stylish for all.
With a background in clinical practice that spans over 5 years of working experience. As well as business innovation, she combines expertise and empathy to create an eye care experience that restores vision, boosts
confidence, and empowers communities.
Her vision for Optomly is simple: to make affordable luxury eyewear and care, a standard across Africa.
